Shattered Colony!
Okay so this game is pretty epic. It's your basic zombie defense game, in which, to be honest it is pretty easy to win. It comes with a complete tutorial so I'm not going to try to explain it here, just know there are LOTS of snipers and LOTS of zombies! The difficult part comes when you can DOWNLOAD and EDIT your own maps! Yeah, that's right you can edit your own maps and upload them for the community. What's even more awesome is that after you download and play a map you can rate it based upon difficulty and 'fun' factor. So if you think a map really sucks you can say so. When you search for a map to play you can search by the overall 'fun' factor and play only the best maps. If you're so inclined, try to find "The Shire" it's a map I made while I was, naturally, bored at work. Give it a go and let me know if you think it's any good!

Upcoming Fun!
So for a while now things have been pretty busy for me. Between work shifting positions around, family coming to visit, and college interfering I haven't been able to dedicate as much time as I would like to the site. So for that I'm truly sorry.
But, I do have something planned that will make things a bit more fun and entertaining. Last year for halloween I bought a ninja outfit. Turns out that crap is made in pakistan and was a total waste of my time for halloween purposes. However, the top still works and I do have a ninja-like mask that I think looks pretty bad ass!
So what I've done is gotten together with a tv station producer and he has agreed to shoot a short video of yours truly. I'm not sure how it's going to turn out or if I'm going to turn into the next YouTube sensation (in a bad way) or not. But I'm going to use that video as an opening for my videos so they're not so ... hmm.. boring. I'd like to provide some voice commentary on the videos to make them a bit more fun.
For now, it's just going to be an intro blip and maybe something creative for a closing blip with a demo of the game in the background. Again I dont know how it's going to all turn out, so wish me luck!!!
Bubble Tanks 2
Bubble Tanks 2 is a CRAZY game! You start out in a sort of evolutionary process where you travel from bubble to bubble killing other bubble amoeba and what not. You then cannibalize their bubble body parts to use as your own to 'evolve' to a bigger and badder 'you.' Which makes for an interesting game actually. The bigger you get, you get to choose your 'evolutionary path' to become a faster shot, or bigger damage shot. If you've ever played Team Fortress 2 you could think of it as choosing the scout or the heavy, or somewhere in between. Either way the game is really fun and addicting. I only intended to play this for about 5 minutes and then write this post. An hour later I just get started...
Anyways, enjoy the game, it's one of my favorites!
Don't forget to show your support by buying a t-shirt in the Ninja Store!

Vector TD 2 (Tower Defense)
Okay, so this game is one of my top favorites. It's very challenging and a great brain stumper at first. Some of you may be saying "What? Tower Defense with a brain stumper?" YES! Absolutely! It stumps you because even at the first, easiest level for VectorTD2 is difficult even for veteran VectorTD players. As you can see in the video (although I didn't try very hard) I didn't last very long. And that's the first level! It'll take you a good minute to figure out how to get things just right. We also used this as the 'challenge' for the office. We try to see who can get the farthest in each level, especially the "Ladder" level. That one is really hard.
So, what do I like about this game? For one, the killer use of vector graphics as opposed to hand drawn figures. I also like that the soundtrack is unique and original. It moves me when I play the game and it's not boring to listen to. What I'm not a huge fan of in the game, is that there is a steep learning curve unless you've played the first one. Also, it seems that the creator made the game with the intention that it's going to kick our butts to the point where we might not continue playing it. What do you think??
