Shattered Colony!
Okay so this game is pretty epic. It's your basic zombie defense game, in which, to be honest it is pretty easy to win. It comes with a complete tutorial so I'm not going to try to explain it here, just know there are LOTS of snipers and LOTS of zombies! The difficult part comes when you can DOWNLOAD and EDIT your own maps! Yeah, that's right you can edit your own maps and upload them for the community. What's even more awesome is that after you download and play a map you can rate it based upon difficulty and 'fun' factor. So if you think a map really sucks you can say so. When you search for a map to play you can search by the overall 'fun' factor and play only the best maps. If you're so inclined, try to find "The Shire" it's a map I made while I was, naturally, bored at work. Give it a go and let me know if you think it's any good!

Vector TD 2 (Tower Defense)
Okay, so this game is one of my top favorites. It's very challenging and a great brain stumper at first. Some of you may be saying "What? Tower Defense with a brain stumper?" YES! Absolutely! It stumps you because even at the first, easiest level for VectorTD2 is difficult even for veteran VectorTD players. As you can see in the video (although I didn't try very hard) I didn't last very long. And that's the first level! It'll take you a good minute to figure out how to get things just right. We also used this as the 'challenge' for the office. We try to see who can get the farthest in each level, especially the "Ladder" level. That one is really hard.
So, what do I like about this game? For one, the killer use of vector graphics as opposed to hand drawn figures. I also like that the soundtrack is unique and original. It moves me when I play the game and it's not boring to listen to. What I'm not a huge fan of in the game, is that there is a steep learning curve unless you've played the first one. Also, it seems that the creator made the game with the intention that it's going to kick our butts to the point where we might not continue playing it. What do you think??

Vector TD (Tower Defense)
Description: Like all other tower defense games, you must defend yourself against creeps (vectoids). What makes this game unique, is that it's all done with vector graphics! If you're not familiar with vector graphics (in this capacity), what they are, are graphics that are drawn by the system "by hand." Meaning, the game draws them, not some loaded picture that was drawn earlier. Very cool. So with this game, there are several levels that you must choose the best towers to defend with. You have green, red, blue and purple towers. Green towers hurt green vectoids a bunch, but are not as effective against red. Each color has it's bonuses and weaknesses. So you have to make good use of a mix of towers to ensure your victory. This game can take some time however. As you progress through the waves, the creep get considerably more and more difficult. At one point, some creep have over a million hit points!!!!
What I like about this game: The background music is really cool and relaxing. Exactly what I'm looking for when I want a chill game to play.
What I don't like about it: The game can progress really slow once you get pretty good at the game. You know what you're planning on doing but sometimes you dont know if your strategy will work because it takes so long to get to the higher levels.
